Benedict Evans makes an interesting point regarding "the new normal" and post-COVID eCommerce stats: it's all about the denominator.
Notice in the below chart that the % of market share now owned by eCommerce is as much about a decline in physical spending as it is about a shift to online (at least in the UK).
