GM unveils all the EVs

Emailed on March 6th 2020 in The Friday Forward

At a major presentation near Detroit yesterday, GM revealed its gameplan to beat Tesla. The general idea? EVs for everyone.

According to The New York Times:

  • Cadillac, GMC, Buick, and Chevrolet are all getting new electric models in the next few years.

  • There will be plenty of GM SUVs to choose from, including an electric Hummer.

  • And as I've previously featured in the Friday Forward: the Cruise Origin, a shared, self-driving electric car without pedals or a steering wheel. Not unlike your office' toaster on wheels.

Tying everything together is Ultium, a new battery technology that will allow GM’s vehicles to travel up to 400 miles on a single charge.
